Booklet: A compilation of pictures and quotes from interviews from the collective ex-members who are now seen as community elders in Toxteth. It’s themes are - Oppression & Resistance, Belonging & Community, Identity & Culture.
The booklet is scheduled to launch as part of National Museums Liverpool; Slavery Remembrance day programme on August 23rd 2023.
Rising from the ashes of Toxteth Uprisings in Liverpool (1981) was an West-African taught performance collective 'Delado' who connected with the language of the drum as a form of freedom.
